Please Join Us in Prayer

From June 11 to 19, the Solemnity of the Sacred Heart, we  join in nine days of prayer to end racism of every kind.

 

Prayer recited in unison.

Oh, Sacred Heart of Jesus, we have failed to live in your love. Generation after generation, your people of color have been disregarded and abused, tortured and killed.  Dispel the darkness of racism and hatred in the soul of our nation and nations of the world.  Have mercy on us and transform our hearts to love each person as you love them.

Sacred Heart of Jesus, we place our trust in you.
